Pure wool

This pure wool is by far my most popular line. Each ball is wound by hand and weighs approximately 40g. Nearly all of it is aran weight, but some colours will be slightly thicker and some more like double knit.
It is pure wool bought in Yorkshire and is the yarn leftover from carpet making so it is quite coarse, but will soften quite a bit using fabric or hair conditioner. It is great for such a wide range of projects such as blankets, cushions, garments, toys, weaving, rug making etc
There are hundreds of colours which vary depending upon what I can buy. The price is 50p per ball and it can easily be posted.
Examples of customer orders might be
20 balls, different colours, bright shades only
50 balls of mixed greens
25 balls of autumn colours in five groups of five etc

Each bundle consists of five pieces, each slightly larger than A4, of dyed pure wool blanket.

I can supply some natural pure wool yarns on cones eg Herdwick, Shetland, mixed breed yarns etc
